Bring in the rain, bring in the summer

Summer 2011!

Do you believe that summer 2011 is going to be the last summer the world would ever have? Pssssh. Shut up! I don’t believe that end of the world crap. I believe that the world will have more sizzling summer.

But this summer beg to differ. It’s not sizzling hot but it’s a cold and wetty one.Weather man says it’s going to be a wet summer. Today is raining and so was the other day too. But nothing is stopping me from enjoying summer. This is the season to rest, to go on an adventure or to blah blah blah everywhere. Rain or rain, summer 2011 is happening. Heard a lot of my classmates are going to different beaches this summer. A lot of people are starting to have a blast of summer. I can’t wait for my family’s plan this summer too. No matter what season we’re having or what prediction we’re hearing, we have to have fun like it’s the end of the world. Kris Allen once sang us a song “Live like your dying”.

Everything else is going to be alright. So let's just relax and enjoy. Watch lots of movies, go shopping, read a good book and sleep the hours away. Don't forget to eat and learn how to cook. If we can't stay outdoors then we should definitely stay indoors. Do indoor stuff and spend quality time with the family. It works for me. Every smile counts, so for this summer I’m going to enjoy all our outings or plainly enjoy boredom. =D

Sweet Kalesa Ride

Can you remember your ride with the kalesa? If ya’ll ask me, I can. I was so young back then but I do remember myself aboard that carriage. I didn’t have the detailed memory about my kalesa ride experience but if my memory is serving me right I did tried riding it for once in my life. That one day, I roamed the streets early that morning. Cars are not yet busily running around like mad and fresh air is around the air. But that was years ago. I was just so lucky to grab a seat in that kalesa experience.

They are rarely used in the streets nowadays except in tourist spots and some rural areas. I can’t barely spot one now. In the modernized streets nowadays, I guess kalesas just gonna add some traffic dilemmas resulting to more jams, heating heads and accidents. Tradition is fading and boom! Pimp rides are taking over. BMWs, Chevrolets, Mercedes, Fords and all the shinning shimmering heart racing cars whatever there names are. I for one is hopeful to get hold of one of those cool turf for my own.

Anyway, I’m blabbing about kalesas today because I’m itching to have a ride on it again. I badly want to ride on a horse too. I WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT! I WANT! I WAANT!  Never tried to actually do that before and I’m kindaa envious to those girls riding on a cute muscularly horse I saw on television every now and then. OOOOOOR, maybe I’m going to wait for the guy on a white horse or a black one or a brown one and wait for him to come and sweep me off my feet.  I’m not a princess and this ain’t a fairytale but it’s not too late to catch me now with that moves. So, guys out there.. I wish you’re reading this and bare it in mind that I want to have a horse date with you sooooon. Come quick! Hahah. Here I go again. =))

Sun up, moon down, moon up, sun down

It took me some time to make a new entry.
And of course knowing me, I sure got a lot of reasons:

1st: I’m busy studying or making some homework for school stuff.
2nd:  I’m busy going out with classmates and killing time or plainly wasting my allowance.
3rd: I’m busy laying down and imagining my future life.
4th:  I’m busy eating.
5th: I’m busy watching movies or series.
6th: I’m too busy being a lazy potato.

But no matter how busy I am or how nonsense the things I do for a living, I enjoyed every millisecond of it. I’m going to list some overview of my vida da loca life scenes that you missed.

 Second year, first sem is..

totally over. And I passed all my annoying, major subjects including the minor ones too. Yes! I won’t repeat anything all over again. But sadly, some of my classmates have too. Well, my battle is not over yet. Got 7 semesters to kill. Good luck for me then.

Three weeks break was..

Awesome! I spent all the time at home. Eating, sleeping and lazying my butt around. It feels so perfect. Hahaha. Although I got bored of doing nothing, I got used to it. Haha.

Mommy Punta celebrated her birthday!

My aunts and uncles prepared a grand birthday celebration to our beloved grandmother! She’s the best grandmother for me because she taught me a lot of life long lessons, took care of me and loves me all throughout. Not just for me but she did a lot of hard work for my mom and to her siblings. The food was very yummy and there was a live band that performed great. There’s this cocktail corner and me and my cousins were sneaking some drinks to drink. My mom really prohibited me from drinking alcoholic stuffs but I managed to grab some glass under her nose.  My brother did that too. Funny! The night was a good night for family bonding.

Back to class galore

I’m still a regular student. That’s a good sign for me. Although everyday I got a 7:30 AM class that is so bothersome I think I can manage the stress. I’m pretty strong inside and out you know. :p

I joined a networking business…

without my parents knowing about it of course.  I’m just experimenting something new and going outside my comfort zone for a bit and see if I can do a good business. All my cousins have joined and earned. Now, I’m earning too. ;) Though I encountered another series of lazyness along the way I am still on the biz! Wait for another couple of months; I’m going to buy myself a car. Hooow dreamy is that? Well, we’ll never know. Another good thing in this business is that it can inspire you to think positively. Not only can you use it in business but you can use it in your everyday life. By thinking positively you can do things with ease. By attracting beautiful thoughts, beautiful things will happen. Christmas time!!

Christmas time is always accompanied with gifts. No matter how tiny or gigantic the gift or how much the cost of the gift you give or receive, there’s this good tinkling feeling you’ll feel.

CHRISTMAS WITH CLOSE FRIENDS
Me and my close friends made exchanging gifts a yearly ritual. We had a weekly kris kringle and then a grand-like exchanging gift. I love love the gifts I gave and received! :)

RS CHRISTMAS PARTY

For this year, we celebrated an all white theme beach party. It was great and fun! I had a good time. After the party we stayed at my classmate’s room. ;)

APARTMENT'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

We celebrated christmas with the borders at our compound too. The party was a white party themed too. There’s a lot of delicious food, fun games and a karaoke and drinking session. I didn’t joined the karaoke session because I was so sleepy and got an early trip back to Ormoc the next day. It’s a good time too because I got to know and spend some fun time with board mates whom I barely know.
 CHRISTMAS AT ORMOC

The sweetest holiday is always found at home. :) I got to spend quality time with my parents, siblings and cousins. No words can describe the feeling.

Jepoy’s 14th birthday!

Of course we had another family eating out night again.

If some of you are wondering about the sun, moon picture I intentionally displayed above, it's justaa my way of symbolizing the time that passed by. The sun shines up and lowed down then came up the moon then lowed down again and the cycle goes on. Got my point? Anyways, just a little thought before i end this entry.. "live every millisecond to the fullest cause every tick and tock of the clock might be the last."
