Can you remember your ride with the kalesa? If ya’ll ask me, I can. I was so young back then but I do remember myself aboard that carriage. I didn’t have the detailed memory about my kalesa ride experience but if my memory is serving me right I did tried riding it for once in my life. That one day, I roamed the streets early that morning. Cars are not yet busily running around like mad and fresh air is around the air. But that was years ago. I was just so lucky to grab a seat in that kalesa experience.
They are rarely used in the streets nowadays except in tourist spots and some rural areas. I can’t barely spot one now. In the modernized streets nowadays, I guess kalesas just gonna add some traffic dilemmas resulting to more jams, heating heads and accidents. Tradition is fading and boom! Pimp rides are taking over. BMWs, Chevrolets, Mercedes, Fords and all the shinning shimmering heart racing cars whatever there names are. I for one is hopeful to get hold of one of those cool turf for my own.
